We are practicing Speech Language Pathologists and Certified Orofacial Myologists with a clinical focus on building the foundation - using myofunctional therapy to habituate proper oral rest posture.  Karrie is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant .

We are private practice owners, course instructors and lecturers.  We love to teach and mentor therapists in the field of myo.  Whether you want to just dip your toes in and learn a little or take the plunge and learn a lot, we've got you! 

We became interested in orofacial myofunctional disorders soon after graduating from our Masters program 20 years ago. After reading countless articles, numerous books and attending several courses we realized this was the missing link in many of the clients we were seeing!

Collaborating with local practitioners we started treating clients from a myofunctional perspective and were overwhelmed with the treatment planning and wrapping our heads around where to start and how to progress as well as the time needed to individualize each client’s program. We experienced information overload trying to link research with practice and realized there must be a better way!

ORPP evolved from something we developed for our own personal clinics into a comprehensive ORPP Framework that could help other clinicians improve their practice by more effectively, more efficiently and more confidently treating OMDs.  Over the last 20 years the ORPP training tools, resources and framework have been amended and updated multiple times to reflect current practice and research.

Our passion is to provide quality, effective and evidence-based therapy for individuals with myofunctional disorders and to share what we have created along the way with others. ORPP has transformed our practice - we look forward to sharing ORPP with you!
